About
Thank you for visiting my blog.
I’ve been an active technology user, both personally and professionally, for nearly 10 years. Over the years I’ve gained experience and knowledge with PC hardware, software and Internet services which I’d like to share with you.
Like most of us, I’ve got more things to do than hours in the day so I’m typically looking for ways the computer can make my life simpler. If I find a piece of technology that works for me, I’ll be sure to tell you about it.

Hi Mike,
I just read your posting on the Palm Foleo.
You have Documents To Go listed as both a PRO and a CON. The same sentence describing the program is listed in both categories. Did you mean to do this?
Hi Jenn,
Thank you for visiting my blog and commenting. Yes, I did intend to have it as both a PRO and a CON. In my opinion, It is a positive feature because those are useful file types to be able to access. However, it is also a con because a user is limited to only those file types.
Hi Mike, I wanted to let you know about a new, free service to check out. GoToAssist Express - it is in beta now and is free during the beta. It allows you to provide technical support to your customers, employees, friends or family. We’re hoping to get input from our beta testers to refine the product and make sure it meets the needs of our customers. You can learn about it at http://express.gotoassist.com. Or you can contact me at brenda.dentinger@citrixonline.com.

A not so techy note– kerouac is a phenomenal writer. I wish I could take credit for the design of the quote, but I found it on the good ol’ internet. Feel free to steal and share as well
Hi Mike
There is so much to read on your blog. You should share it at http://www.bumpzee.com
I’m very interested in techi stuff, right now I’m checking out the Yahoo widgets you talked about.
Hi Halle,
Not-so-techy notes are welcome too, especially from a fellow Kerouac fan!
Hi 1Chica,

hi, nice to know. Mike you have great expertise. keep it up.
HI Mike,
I am reaching out to let you know that we have been making some big changes at NutshellMail and we have just released a new Facebook application that I think MyTechTalk readers will really like to learn about.
Many of my friends have complained that they receive too many Facebook email alerts. While many of them would like to simply turn off their email alerts, it is the main way for them to know if there is new activity in their account. Consequently, our team has created a new Facebook application to help you keep up with all your Facebook activity, including status updates, friend requests, messages, birthdays, invites, and much more directly through your email inbox and on your terms. We just released the app on Friday; and already have hundreds of users.
You can check out the NutshellMail Facebook application at http://facebook.nutshellmail.com/.
The NutshellMail Facebook application works by sending recurring email updates to any email address on a schedule that you define. Each update provides a snapshot of all your new Facebook activity as well as direct links into your Facebook account. In addition, users can add their other social networking and email accounts to their NutshellMail updates.
I am happy to send you screenshots or to address any questions or comments you may have. Please do not hesitate to contact me at mark(at)nutshellmail.com.
